Hello Anton,
Thank you for your mail.
Following your refund request we have proceeded to an initial review and determined that your case will need further review by a Refund Specialist. In order to help us determine the reason behind your disconnection we will require that you send us your program log files for your PokerStars program.
Among the things we will need to know are:
Computer Processor (i.e. Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz, etc…)
System RAM (i.e. 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, etc…)
Connection Type (i.e. Dial-Up, Cable, DSL, Satellite, etc…)
ISP (Internet Service Provider) (company name that provides your Internet service)
Router/Modem (i.e Dlink DI-624, Linksys WRTG54GS, etc…)
We will also require the Network Status Report from our software. It is best to run this report when you lose connectivity to the site.
Prior to following the instructions below, if you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8, please elevate the PokerStars program to Administrator. To accomplish this right click the PokerStars shortcut and select "Run as Administrator". If you do not see this option it means that your Windows Account is not an
Administrator, in this case you will need to get the Administrator to log into the computer for you. Please note that this does not apply to other operating systems.
To send this report and your log files:
1. In the PokerStars software click on “Help” -> “Show Network Status”.
2. When this dialog opens, click on the “Report” button.
3.a. If you have a Mac, once the report has finished, a pop up window will ask you to select a location to save your report. The desktop is a good place.
3.b. On a Windows computer, go to “Help” -> "Open My Settings Folder"
4. Locate the files NetworkStatusReport.log or NetworkStatusReport
5. Open the Main Lobby again
6. Go to "Help" -> "Log Files"
7. Select "ZIP & SAVE"
8. Save the files to your Desktop (you may have to navigate to the Desktop as the default location is the PokerStars Settings Folder)
9. Reply to this email
10. Click on Attach File (or similar option)
11. Select the NetworkStatusReport.log or NetworkStatusReport *and* the ZIP files located on your Desktop (or wherever you chose to save the files)
12. Click OK and send the email
